2 cups cooked black beans (or 1- 15 oz. can, drained and rinsed well)
¼ cup + 1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup gluten-free oat flour
1/3 cup carob powder
¼ cup + 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ teaspoons (1/2 tablespoon) baking powder
Put all ingredients into food processor fitted with “S” blade bowl and mix until smooth. Batter will be thick.
Spread batter into 8″ X 8″ greased pan.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Let brownies sit in pan on a cookie rack for about 10 minutes; then turn pan upside down on cookie rack and remove brownies from pan.
Cool before cutting.
